Contact

Describe the problem. We will tell you whether it is worth solving.

The first conversation is a 60-minute assessment. We ask three things: what you are trying to fix, who holds the data, and who can commit to the outcome. No fee, and no deck required.

What happens after you get in touch

The sequence is fixed, and so are the timeframes.

  1. 01

01 · Your email: a reply within one working day

Write to contact@mail.kchangai.com with three things: the problem, the systems involved, and who owns the result. Rough notes are fine — tell us where it is stuck. We reply with times for a 60-minute assessment.

  2. 02

    02 · The assessment: 60 minutes

A video call. No charge, nothing to prepare. We go through the use case, the data and the organisation, and we will tell you which approaches we have watched fail.

  3. 03

03 · A written answer: within two working days

You get one of three conclusions in writing: worth doing, and where to start; not yet, and what has to be fixed first; or buy an existing product instead. We will recommend the product even when it is not our business.

  4. 04

04 · If we go ahead: fixed-scope pilot and price

We write up a fixed-scope pilot: what is in, what is out, how it gets accepted, and what it costs. The schedule depends on the scope, so the dates live in that document — quoting a timeline before the scope is settled is not a quote.

How to reach us

Pick whichever suits you. All three routes lead into the same process.

Email
contact@mail.kchangai.com — the most direct route. A description of the problem and the context is enough; it does not need to read like a requirements document.
WeChat
Scan the QR code on this page. Open with one line about who you are and what you need, so we can look at the context beforehand.

Who we are not right for

This section is here to save us both time.

Where we are, and where we deliver

Office: Room 6328, Floor 3, Building 142, Zhuangchang Beili, Tongzhou District, Beijing, China.

We work on-site in Beijing. Elsewhere in China and internationally, delivery is mainly remote. Remote does not mean documents by email: the assessment, the weekly progress call and acceptance all happen online, with code and documentation shared throughout. If a site visit is needed, it is written into the proposal.

Our plan is to build a bench of forward deployed engineers and dispatch the nearest one to each site. That is a plan and it is not live yet; for now, projects outside Beijing are delivered remotely by our own engineers.

Common questions

How do we start?

One email to contact@mail.kchangai.com is enough. The first step is a 60-minute assessment at no charge, with nothing to prepare. A written conclusion follows within two working days; if the answer is to go ahead, we come back with a fixed-scope pilot and a price.

What should we prepare for the first call?

No deck and no requirements document. The three most useful things: the exact step you are stuck on, which systems it touches, and who is responsible for it. Bring a process diagram or a data dictionary if you have one; it works without them too.

How long until we see a proposal?

A written assessment within two working days of the call, including the scope we would start with. A formal proposal and price follow once that scope is agreed. The pilot dates sit inside the proposal, because the timeline depends on scope rather than on our enthusiasm.

How do you handle confidentiality and NDAs?

We will sign an NDA, using either our standard text or yours. Where the assessment touches sensitive data, you can describe the structure and the process without handing the data over. What we carry forward from a project is industry know-how and generic components with client detail stripped out; client data is never part of that.
